Well I know it’s International Yoga Day, but for me, yoga day is everyday!
I was actually a bodybuilder (shhhhh) in my 20’s and got a bad injury which led me to yoga. I slowly but gradually fell in love with yoga and went from a fitness freak to a yoga teacher, studio owner, festival owner, teacher trainer, mentor, and now business coach for yoginis. So I’ve done it all in the world of yoga!
That’s all well and good, but the most impactful part about yoga is how it has changed my life. Through all the traumas, tragedies, downs, AND ups of life, yoga has been there to keep me balanced, happy, healthy, and emotionally stable. I think i can say it has saved my life, and certainly brought out the best version of ME.
It’s safe to say that the past three decades of my life has been about giving back all of what yoga has done for me and I’m grateful for this dharma path, for all the amazing teachers in my life, and mostly to Mother India for bringing us her wisdom teachings and beings.
I would love to invite you to my 40 day Soul on Fire Sacred Sadhana. In honor of this day, anyone who signs up this week will also receive my seven week Power of Practice course for Free! After practicing yoga for over 30 years, it’s my joy and honor to share my own personal practices with you and be together every day! All info
To quote one of the most influential teachers of my life, BKS Iyengar:
“Yoga is like music. The rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind, and the harmony of the soul creates the symphony of life.“
RamRam my friends, if Yoga has come to you in this life, you are lucky being!
